1. ABOUT US
Arion Yachting is a boat charter company and booking agency based in Crete, Greece. We operate in two capacities:
  1. As a booking agent, facilitating charters between customers and third-party boat owners/operators.
  2. As a boat owner, directly offering charters on our own vessels.
When booking a charter, customers will be informed whether they are renting a third-party vessel or one of our privately owned boats.
2. SERVICES OFFERED
Through our Website, we offer:
  • Boat charter booking services in Mirabello Bay and surrounding areas.
  • Direct charters on our own vessels.
  • Signature experiences and curated luxury maritime journeys.
  • Customer support related to bookings and inquiries.
2.1 Third-Party Bookings vs. Arion-Owned Charters
  • When booking a third-party boat, your contract is directly with the boat owner/operator, and Arion Yachting acts solely as an intermediary.
  • When booking one of our boats, your contract is with Arion Yachting, and we take full responsibility for service delivery.
3. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 Booking Process
  • To book a boat, submit a request through our website or contact us directly.
  • Bookings are confirmed only after payment of the required deposit or full amount (as per the booking policy).
  • Availability is subject to confirmation.
3.2 Payment & Fees
  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other secure online methods.
  • If booking a third-party boat, Arion Yachting collects the payment and transfers the remaining amount to the boat owner after deducting our commission.
  • If booking an Arion Yachting-owned boat, full payment is made directly to us.
  • Additional service fees will be specified at the time of booking.
3.3 Cancellations & Refunds
Our cancellation and refund policy applies to all boat charters, whether booked on an Arion Yachting-owned vessel or a third-party boat through our platform:
  • 50% deposit is non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date or time.
  • Weather-related cancellations or cancellations due to severe circumstances outside of your control – We offer a full refund or reschedule at no extra charge.
If Arion Yachting or the boat operator cancels a booking due to mechanical issues, operational reasons, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will provide an alternative option or a full refund.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
By booking a service through Arion Yachting, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate information (including personal details and payment information).
  • Follow all safety rules and instructions provided by the captain or boat operator.
  • Respect local maritime laws and regulations.
  • Treat the vessel and crew with care and adhere to the specific terms of the charter.
Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.
5. BOAT OPERATOR AND ARION YACHTING RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Third-Party Boat Operators
Boat owners/operators partnering with Arion Yachting agree to:
  • Provide accurate details about their vessels, services, and pricing.
  • Ensure all vessels are properly licensed and insured.
  • Maintain safety and service standards as required by Greek maritime laws.
  • Deliver the booked service as described unless an unavoidable situation arises.
5.2 Arion Yachting-Owned Boats
For charters on our own boats, Arion Yachting is responsible for:
  • Ensuring the vessel is well-maintained, licensed, and insured.
  • Providing a professional and trained crew.
  • Delivering the service as described in the booking confirmation.
If issues arise with an Arion Yachting-owned boat, we will offer a replacement vessel or full refund.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
For third-party bookings: Arion Yachting is not liable for damages, injuries, or losses occurring during a charter with a third-party boat owner. The responsibility falls on the boat operator.
 
For Arion Yachting-owned boats: We take full responsibility for service quality and safety. However, we are not liable for accidents resulting from customer negligence.
  • We are not responsible for unforeseen cancellations or force majeure events (see Section 9).
  • Customers are encouraged to obtain travel insurance for added protection.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
  • All content, logos and trademarks on our Website are owned by or licensed to Arion Yachting and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
8. PRIVACY POLICY

Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with that policy.

9. FORCE MAJEURE
Arion Yachting and its boat operators are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions due to:
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Government regulations or restrictions
  • Strikes, war, or civil unrest
If a charter is affected by force majeure, we will work with customers to reschedule or provide refunds where possible.
10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and the European Union (EU regulations). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
11. AMENDMENTS & UPDATES
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our Website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
